The Kenwood Excelon XR-W1002 is a 10-inch component subwoofer engineered to deliver crisp, powerful bass and exceptional sound quality for your car audio system. This high-performance subwoofer boasts 1300 watts of peak power and 300 watts RMS, enabling it to produce deep, punchy lows while maintaining precise control and clarity. It features an oversized 10" (25cm) polypropylene gray cone and a rubber surround mounted on a durable steel basket. The dual ferrite magnet system, enhanced with a rubber magnet cover, contributes to its robust performance. With a 2-ohm impedance, the XR-W1002 is designed for efficient power delivery. It offers a wide frequency response ranging from 31Hz to 300Hz, allowing for reproduction of deep bass notes. The subwoofer also incorporates a high-efficiency design with dual ventilation for thermal management, a stress-free damper, and a thermal-efficient system to ensure reliable operation under demanding conditions. Installation is supported by 8AWG push terminals for secure connections. The woofer frame measures 10-13/16" x 10-13/16", with a cutout diameter of 9-1/8" and a mounting depth of 4-13/16". The included accessories consist of mounting screws and a cushion, simplifying the installation process.
