Power Path Stage III Cold Air Intake

The James Barone Racing (JBR) Power Path Stage III Cold Air Intake system is a comprehensive upgrade designed to replace the restrictive factory air filter box and turbo inlet pipe on the 2010-2013 Mazdaspeed 3. This Stage III kit specifically incorporates an additional piece of tubing, enabling the intake to draw cooler, denser air from the inner fender well, away from engine heat. The kit is a complete package, including the JBR Power Path SRI, Turbo Inlet Pipe, and Cold Air piping. Constructed from smooth, mandrel-bent 6061 polished aluminum, the intake system is engineered for maximum airflow. It utilizes a custom, 4-ply polyester reinforced hi-temperature silicone elbow and intake hose, along with a similarly reinforced JBR Turbo Inlet pipe designed for efficient airflow directly into the turbo. The MAF housing is precisely machined from a 6061 aluminum blank to +/-.001′ tolerances and includes a factory-style air straightener for accurate MAF sensor signals. This lighter MAF housing also aids in reducing heat soak and shedding heat more quickly. The kit includes a Dry-Flow air filter, capable of filtering particles down to < 0.1 micron while allowing 200% more airflow than the factory filter. Installation is described as simple, with no ECU tuning required. The system is backed by JBR's lifetime warranty and a NO CEL (Check Engine Light) guarantee.
