Power Pulse 304-Stainless Steel Cat-Back Exhaust Muffler

The Racing Beat Power Pulse muffler is engineered specifically for the 1999-2005 Mazda Miata, offering a blend of sound and performance. Its heart is a polished 304-stainless steel canister, complemented by mandrel-bent 304-stainless steel inlet and outlet tubes, ensuring excellent durability and a refined appearance. The internal design is a 2.375" OD Straight-Flow configuration, similar to Racing Beat's RX-7 Turbo II systems, and it's finished with a 3.5" OD polished 304-stainless steel tip. Racing Beat's engineering staff tunes each system to deliver a modest tone at low speeds and a more assertive sound during acceleration. Dyno tests on a stock 1999 Miata showed a gain of 2.4 hp, with potential for up to 8.5 hp when combined with a Racing Beat air intake. The Power Pulse muffler is 50-state emissions legal and meets all California sound level requirements. Installation is straightforward, requiring only basic hand tools, as it's a bolt-on system that includes all necessary mounting hardware and a replacement OEM donut gasket. It is intended for use on 1999-2005 Miata models, with the exception of 1999-2003 Miata models equipped with an automatic transmission.
