The Racing Beat Power Pulse Race Muffler is a lightweight, 304-stainless steel exhaust component engineered for 1990-1997 Mazda Miata vehicles. Produced at the Racing Beat manufacturing facility, this muffler utilizes a straight-through canister design to optimize exhaust gas flow. Sound absorption is managed by a combination of stainless steel and high-temperature ceramic wool packing, resulting in a performance-oriented exhaust note. Key technical features include the 304-stainless steel construction of the canister, inlet and outlet tubing, and the single-wall tip, which displays an etched Racing Beat logo. The muffler assembly weighs approximately 11.25 pounds, excluding the connecting pipe. Important installation requirement: This muffler section is not a complete stand-alone system and requires the use of a Racing Beat connecting pipe section for installation. Users must select the specific connecting pipe compatible with their model year (1990-1995 or 1996-1997). Options include the Power Pulse Connecting Pipe, which incorporates a presilencer for a deeper tone, or the Power Pulse Sport Connecting Pipe, which omits the presilencer for a more robust exhaust note.
