This intake system replaces the restrictive factory airbox and filter to improve airflow and engine response. It features a reinforced silicone coupler, a billet MAF housing for precise sensor readings, and a high-flow Dry-Flow filter.

The CorkSport Power Series Short Ram Intake is engineered to boost the performance and auditory experience of your Mazda 6's 2.5L SkyActiv engine. By replacing the restrictive factory airbox and filter, this intake system promotes improved airflow, leading to enhanced engine response and power gains throughout the RPM range. The non-woven filter media captures dirt without needing oil and can be cleaned after washing. This intake is designed for 2014-2021 Mazda 6 models with the 2.5L engine. Installation is straightforward, typically taking about an hour with a low difficulty rating of 1/5. No tuning is required for installation. However, this intake is not compatible with engines equipped with an EGR cooler located on top of the intake manifold. It has not been confirmed to work with the 2.0L engine, and its use on such engines is at your own risk. Additionally, some early Mazda 6 models, particularly from 2019, may experience a Check Engine Light (CEL) due to the intake. If this occurs, a PCM ECU flash update is recommended, which can be obtained from your dealership via TSB #: 01-015/19. Users should expect some minor increase in engine induction noise. The intake offers a customizable look with a choice of black, blue, or red silicone couplers and filters. CorkSport provides a 2-year warranty, full-color installation instructions, all necessary hardware, and telephone support for installation.
