The CorkSport Power Series Short Ram Intake system is engineered to replace the restrictive factory airbox in your 2.5L SkyActiv Turbo engine, aiming to enhance efficiency, power, and underhood aesthetics. The intake contributes to an additional 5-16whp and 7-23wtq with no tuning or check engine lights required. This intake significantly improves the audible turbo and bypass valve sounds, creating an engaging driving experience. It features a CNC-machined MAF housing from 6061-T6 billet aluminum for precise tolerances, crucial for accurate airflow monitoring. The 4-ply reinforced silicone coupler reduces airflow turbulence, further increasing efficiency and power. The system utilizes a washable and reusable CorkSport Dry-Flow Air Filter for superior filtration. Installation is estimated to take approximately 1 hour with a difficulty rating of 2/5. The heatshield option is sold separately. This intake system is designed for the 2018+ Mazda 6 equipped with a turbocharged engine, 2019-2025 Mazda CX-5 equipped with a turbocharged engine, and 2016+ Mazda CX-9.
