Power Steering Conversio n 62-72 Mopar Small Bloc

This kit is a power steering conversion/upgrade for 1970-1972 Mopar cars equipped with a 1-1/8" diameter pitman shaft and an LA series small block 318/340/360 engine. It includes a 14:1 quick ratio steering box, power steering pump, mounting bracket, pulley, hoses, and a steering column coupler. The use of a power steering cooler is highly recommended for these applications. All Borgeson power steering boxes and pumps are assembled and tested in the USA from globally sourced components and come with a 3-year warranty. The original steering column shaft will need to be cut and shortened for installation. Connection to the box is then made by drilling and pinning the Borgeson #036425 Mopar vibration-reducing universal joint coupling to the shortened steering column shaft. A drill bit and pins are included with the coupler.
