The Power Stop Z36 Truck and Tow Brake Kit is designed for vehicles that haul heavy loads, travel in hilly terrain, or have larger wheels, which can push factory brakes beyond their limits. This kit can increase stopping power by up to 20%. It features G3000 grade castings for the rotors, which have beveled drill holes to reduce rotor temperature during extreme braking and are silver zinc plated to resist rust. The rotors also have slots to sweep away dust and gas. The brake pads are made with a carbon-fiber infused Evolution ceramic formula, with a thermal-scorched surface for quick break-in and stainless steel shims for quiet braking. The pads also have a powder-coated backing plate to resist rust and corrosion. If included, the calipers are rebuilt and tested for performance, finished with an electrostatic high-heat powder-coat for corrosion resistance, and include new bleed screws, hardware, pins, and high-temperature EPDM rubber.
