Power Stop 11-19 Ford Explorer Front & Rear Z36 Truck & Tow Brake Kit

The Power Stop Z36 Truck and Tow Brake Kit (K5584-36) is designed for heavy-duty applications, including hauling, towing, and consistent travel in hilly terrain. It aims to restore brake confidence and increase stopping power by up to 20% compared to factory brakes. The kit includes Z36 carbon fiber infused ceramic brake pads and drilled and slotted rotors. Some kits may also include performance calipers. The rotors are constructed of G3000 steel castings, featuring drilled and chamfered holes to reduce rotor temperatures during extreme braking and slots to sweep away dust and gas for improved braking. They are silver zinc plated for rust resistance. The brake pads are thermal scorched for a fast break-in, and feature stainless steel shims for virtually noise-free braking, with a powder-coated backing plate to resist rust and corrosion. Calipers, when included, are 100% pressure tested, finished in an electrostatic high-heat powder-coat for corrosion resistance, and include new bleed screws, hardware, pins, and high-temperature EPDM rubber for increased durability. Premium silicone lubrication ensures smooth operation.
