This Power Stop Z36 Truck and Tow Brake Kit is designed for trucks and tow vehicles, ideal for hauling heavy loads or consistent travel in hilly terrain. It aims to increase stopping power by up to 20% compared to factory brakes. The kit includes Z36 carbon fiber infused ceramic brake pads, drilled and slotted rotors, and some kits also include performance calipers. The rotors are made from G3000 steel castings, feature chamfered drill holes for reduced temperatures, and slots to sweep away dust and gas. They are silver zinc plated for rust resistance. The brake pads are thermal scorched for quick break-in and have stainless steel shims for noise-free braking. Calipers, where included, are rebuilt, pressure tested, finished with an electrostatic high-heat powder-coat for corrosion resistance, and include new bleed screws, hardware, pins, and high-temperature EPDM rubber.
