The Indian Powerband Saddlebag Speakers are a 6-1/2 inch audio upgrade designed to integrate seamlessly into your motorcycle's saddlebags, adding 200 watts of sound. These powerful, 100-watt speakers are engineered to overcome road and throttle noise, delivering an immersive audio experience with enhanced bass through the Bass Boost Tune and PowerCurve Technology. Dynamic EQ automatically optimizes audio quality in real-time as speed and conditions change, ensuring clarity at all times. Installation is described as easy, with no wire-cutting, extra amps, brackets, or harnesses required. However, a crucial prerequisite for installation is the prior installation of either the 2890597 (Chieftain/Roadmaster) or 2890595 (Challenger/Pursuit) upper fairing upgrade kit. These are listed as required sold-separately accessories. For 2020-2023 motorcycles, enjoyment of the Bass Boost Tune requires a software upgrade purchased and activated at a local Indian Motorcycle dealership. Motorcycles from 2024 and newer will automatically receive this tune upon installation. If your motorcycle already has the first-generation PowerBand Audio, the Bass Boost Tune can also be added via a dealership software upgrade. Aesthetically, these PowerBand Speakers feature a chiseled, modern look with a centralized tweeter aimed at the rider. The system's Smart Speaker Technology ensures that Bluetooth-enabled Ride Command touchscreens automatically recognize the speakers, upgrading the Audio menu and providing access to a new 9-band equalizer for customized sound levels.
