Overview

It incorporates FMF's patented PowerBomb module in the initial stage of the header. This module uses expansion and contraction of exhaust sonics to achieve a flow increase of nearly 10% and allows the air to expand, cool, and ramp back up at a higher velocity. The PowerBomb also acts as a pre-muffler, helping to lower sound output.

The FMF PowerBomb header is constructed from stainless steel and features FMF's patented PowerBomb module strategically placed in the initial stage of the exhaust system. This "Bomb" design creates an expansion chamber that aids in increasing exhaust flow by nearly 10%, while also allowing exhaust gases to expand, cool, and regain velocity. This unique design functions as a pre-muffler, contributing to a reduction in overall sound output by providing more surface area for sound absorption. The supercross version is tuned for enhanced low to mid-range power, while the moto version focuses on mid to upper RPM gains. The header is made from stainless steel and weighs approximately 2.8 lbs. This product is intended for closed course use only. It is a replacement part and is declared as such by the manufacturer. The FMF PowerBomb Header 043289 is specifically designed for the Suzuki DR650SE models from 1997 to 2022.
