Description

The Platinum Racing Products Powerglide Transmission Conversion Kit provides a robust solution for integrating a Powerglide transmission with RB 2WD engines, specifically for Nissan Skyline GT-R R32, R33, and R34 chassis. This kit includes a cast bellhousing designed to accommodate up to a 13-inch outer diameter torque converter and an adapter engineered for the R32/R33/R34 transfer case. The package also contains a heat-treated, splined dummy shaft for a shorty Powerglide, along with necessary hardware. While the kit is designed for seamless integration in R32 and R33 chassis, R34 models will require a 20mm modification to both driveshafts. A revised kit for R34 applications is anticipated to be available soon. The cast bellhousing component can also be purchased separately and is suitable for RB 2WD vehicles, allowing for the fitment of a TH400 or Powerglide gearbox utilizing either an OEM or REID casing.
