The POWERGRIP HD Clutch Kit is a "strip/street" competition clutch system designed for weekend racing and spirited street driving. It offers maximum holding power with significantly more clamping force than stock, while maintaining a light pedal feel. Rated up to 650 horsepower, it's ideal for high-output street builds. The clutch disc features RAM’s 900 Series metallic friction material on both sides for maximum grip and heat resistance. The heavy-duty 8-spring hub improves strength, shock absorption, and long-term durability. Each set includes the pressure plate, clutch disc, release bearing, and alignment tool. Sintered iron provides a degree of slippage on vehicle launch to prevent the violent engagement of paddle-type metallic discs, resulting in firm and consistent engagement. Some chatter is likely with rear gearing less than 3.73 in street applications.
