The Ram Powergrip HD clutch system is a "street/strip" competition clutch designed for performance applications up to 650 horsepower. It features sintered metallic friction surfaces on both sides of the disc for a firm yet controllable engagement, preventing the harshness of paddle-type metallic discs. The 8-spring hub is equipped with RAM poly-coil damper springs encased in polyurethane, enhancing load capacity and extending hub life, capable of handling three times the shock load of standard coil springs. This kit includes the pressure plate, clutch disc, release bearing, and alignment tool. Some chatter is possible in street applications with rear gearing less than 3.73.
