PowerPort 325 Assembled Cylinder Head

The Trick Flow PowerPort 325 cylinder head is a high-performance component designed for Ford 429/460 street and street/strip applications. It offers significant horsepower and torque gains over similar cylinder heads. Constructed from cast aluminum, this assembled cylinder head boasts a 78cc combustion chamber volume and 325cc intake runners, paired with 145cc exhaust runners. The CNC-machined combustion chambers, intake runners, and exhaust runners ensure optimal airflow and efficiency. Key specifications include a standard intake port location, a D-port exhaust shape with a raised location, a heart-style combustion chamber, and provisions for a hydraulic roller camshaft. The intake valve diameter is 2.250 inches, while the exhaust valve diameter is 1.760 inches, and it supports a maximum valve lift of 0.680 inches. This PowerPort 325 head is engineered for an extremely efficient chamber design for more complete combustion. The exhaust ports are raised .270 inches from stock to further increase airflow. It comes equipped with dual valve springs, chromoly steel retainers, 10-degree locks, valve stem seals, and guideplates. Note that rocker arms and rocker arm nuts are not included. Applications for this cylinder head include Ford big block 385 Series V8 engines, specifically covering the 7.0L/429 from 1968-1973 and the 7.5L/460 from 1972-1987, both utilizing a stud-style rocker arm mounting system. A Cobra Jet header is required for installation, and the exhaust port is raised 0.270 in. over stock.
