The RENNtech Powertrain Control Unit (CPC) upgrade is engineered for AMG M176 and M177 engines, specifically targeting models from 2020 onwards. This performance module effectively bypasses the limitations imposed by the factory CPC unit, enabling increased torque output and removing factory-imposed speed restrictions. The CPC upgrade is a crucial component for maximizing performance, especially when combined with RENNtech's ECU tunes and turbo upgrade packages. This upgrade is designed for specific AMG engines, including the M176 in the G 550, S 560, GLE 580, and GLS 580 (2020+), as well as the M177 in the C 63, GLC 63, E 63, GT 63, S 63, and G 63 (2020+), and the M177 in the GLE 63 and GLS 63 (2021+). It is important to note that the RENNtech CPC upgrade is intended for use with RENNtech ECU software. While it can be used with third-party ECU maps, proper functionality is not guaranteed, and additional steps may be required to match the CPC tune to non-RENNtech ECU software.
