The Brabus PowerXtra B40S-800 is a comprehensive performance upgrade kit engineered for the Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 with the X167 chassis. This kit significantly enhances the vehicle's power and torque output, transforming the driving experience. At the core of this upgrade are two specially developed Brabus turbochargers. These feature larger compressor units (52 mm diameter) and modified core assemblies, equipped with reinforced axial bearings for improved durability and performance. The kit also includes the Brabus PowerXtra control module, which integrates with the engine control unit, and a specifically developed dataset for the engine management system to optimize performance. With this kit installed, the Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 sees a substantial increase in power, jumping from its stock 557 HP (410 KW) to an impressive 800 HP (588 KW). Peak torque is also elevated from 730 Nm to 950 Nm. This power boost results in improved acceleration, with 0-100 km/h times dropping from 4.9 seconds to 4.5 seconds. The top speed is also increased from 250 km/h (155 mph) to 300 km/h (186 mph).
