PRC As-Cast 225cc Cathedral Heads

The Texas Speed & Performance PRC As-Cast 225cc LS1/LS2 Cathedral Heads are a premium aftermarket cylinder head solution engineered for LS1 and LS2 engines. Precision Race Components (PRC) manufactures these as-cast heads, featuring CNC-machined chambers and valve guides to maximize flow and performance. They are designed for LS1/LS2 applications where a high-flow, performance-oriented cylinder head is desired at a competitive price point. These heads are constructed from aluminum and proudly made, cast, and machined in the USA. The as-cast 225cc intake runners are designed for exceptional flow, tested to over 320 cfm, and are complemented by 62cc CNC-machined chambers. They utilize 2.065" stainless steel intake valves and 1.600" stainless steel exhaust valves, with an option for hollow-stem intake valves to save approximately 15 grams. These heads are configured to work with factory LS1 rocker arms and come standard with the TSP .660 Dual Spring Kit, featuring PAC valve springs and titanium retainers. Small bore configurations are available for applications requiring extra compression while maintaining good piston-to-valve clearance. The PRC 225cc As-Cast cylinder heads are versatile, capable of supporting everything from milder street-driven camshafts to all-out race engines. Their design combines a max-effort, high-flowing port with a smaller chamber optimized for maximum power in stock cube applications. The included flow data indicates significant airflow numbers, with intake flow reaching 321 CFM at .650" lift and exhaust flow at 230 CFM at .650" lift. These heads are suitable for various LS applications and offer flexibility with options for different chamber sizes (62cc or 68cc) and valve types.
