PRECISION-9 COMPASS

The Simrad Precision-9 Compass is a solid-state heading sensor that provides accurate heading and rate-of-turn information, along with pitch and roll data. It uses an internal array of nine-axis sensors. This data is transmitted via an NMEA 2000® network, making it ideal for Simrad autopilots, radar systems, multifunction displays, and other compatible navigational equipment. Its solid-state design offers a heading accuracy of ±2 degrees after calibration. The compass features an easily adjustable mounting bracket for versatile installation and can be directly mounted to a flat surface. With an IPX7 waterproof rating, it is suitable for external up-mast installation on steel-hulled vessels to mitigate magnetic interference. The package includes an N2K-T-RD Network T-Connector and an N2KEXT-15RD 15ft Network Extension Cable.
