The fuel line itself is a smooth bore PTFE with stainless steel and nylon braiding for protection.

The Precision Raceworks AN6 Fuel Line Upgrade offers a direct replacement for the factory fuel line on the BMW E60, extending from the fuel filter to the high-pressure fuel pump. This upgrade is engineered to meet the demands of high-horsepower builds, particularly those running E85 fuel. Constructed with connections machined from 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum and anodized for 100% E85 compliance, this fuel line ensures durability and resistance to fuel degradation. Each female connector is equipped with a primary and secondary seal to guarantee a leak-free connection. The smooth bore PTFE fuel line is further protected by a stainless steel braiding covered by a protective nylon outer layer, making it suitable for demanding applications. This upgrade also includes provisions for an ethanol sensor, with an included spacer for situations where an ethanol sensor is not immediately installed.
