The Johnson VL172HP4HY Premium Edition Series lifters are designed to support engines operating under high spring pressures and high RPMs. Each kit includes four lifters built with a racing retainer, slow leak down internals, and direct shot oiling to maintain consistent performance under demanding conditions. These lifters are compatible with a wide range of GM LS-based engines, specifically L76 (6.0L AFM), L77 (6.0L AFM), L98 (6.0L), LM7 (5.3L), LQ4, LS1 (5.7L), LS2 (6.0L), LS3 (6.2L), LS7 (7.0L), LS9 (6.2L Supercharged), LSA (6.2L Supercharged), LSX, and LY2 (4.8L) configurations. Installation of performance valvetrain components can require specialized fitting and may necessitate additional parts depending on the specific engine build.
