These springs are made from premium (hf) 54SiCr6 spring steel, a material chosen for its strength, resilience, and durability, ensuring they won't set or sag. To further enhance longevity, H&R applies a shot-peening process, which can increase the springs' life by over 200%. All H&R springs are manufactured in-house to ensure product quality and undergo 100% testing before leaving their ISO9001 certified production facility in Germany. The progressive spring rate design aims to provide a superb ride quality and comfort, enhancing the driving experience. These springs are specifically designed for the 2006-2009 VW Polo GTI MK4, offering a lowering amount of 30-35mm. They are also compatible with the 2001-2009 VW Polo MK4, providing a 35mm drop. The product description notes that a lower wind resistance signature can make the vehicle more streamlined and potentially improve gas mileage.
