The Centric 120.47021 is a premium disc brake rotor engineered as an OE replacement, suitable for normal commutes and performance street driving. This rotor features a cast iron construction with a smooth, plain friction surface and a coated hat finish for enhanced durability and corrosion resistance. Key design elements include symmetric vanes and split-core castings that promote uniform heat distribution, helping to prevent brake fade during demanding use. The double disc ground friction surface ensures optimal performance and extends the service life of the rotor. Centric's Electrocoating finish provides superior, long-lasting corrosion protection, designed to withstand up to 400 hours of salt water exposure, outperforming the minimal protection offered by phosphate finishes commonly used by competitors. This rotor is designed with a 294 mm outside diameter and a 2.283-inch center hole diameter. It utilizes a floating disc mounting system and comes with a vented type rotor with straight vane style. Please note that ABS tone rings and bearings are not included with this rotor. Centric premium rotors are intended for drivers seeking a balance of reliability and performance without breaking the bank, offering a 3 out of 5 rating for stopping power and a 2 out of 5 for noise level, indicating a slightly sportier feel than stock.
