The Tomei Valve Spring Set (TA304A-NS11A) is engineered for demanding high-performance applications, specifically for Nissan CA18DE and CA18DET engines. These springs are crucial for accurately transferring camshaft movement to the valves at high RPMs, preventing valve float, jump, and bounce. Constructed from oil-tempered chromium-silicone alloy steel wire (SWOCN-V) and treated with a nitride surface process, these springs offer enhanced durability and a higher fatigue limit, enabling engines to safely rev up to 10,000 RPM, even with high-lift camshafts. The set includes valve springs with a compatible lift of approximately 10.35mm and specific dimensions for free length, set length, lift length, and compress length. Tomei's rigorous testing ensures reliability, durability against metal fatigue, and resistance to surging and sagging. This valve spring set is compatible with the 1989-1990 Nissan Silvia / 180SX models equipped with the CA18DE(T) engine. It's important to note that while designed for high lift, these springs are not compatible with NEO 6 engines and are intended for use with intake side retainers for solid conversions. Refer to the provided installation instructions for proper fitment.
