Pressure Pipe Kit

The do88 Pressure Pipe Kit is engineered for Volvo drivers with significant horsepower goals, offering a substantial upgrade over stock intercooler pipes. This kit has been rigorously tested, both in-vehicle and on a SuperFlow SF-1020 flow bench, to verify its considerably improved airflow compared to OEM pipes. The pressure pipes are constructed from 2.5-inch mandrel-bent stainless steel, designed to reverse the flow through the intercooler for a more direct path to the throttle body. This design results in a total pipe length reduction of 600mm compared to OEM pipes, which contributes to increased throttle responsiveness. The custom-cast flange for the pressure and temperature sensors offers a more secure attachment than original fittings, mitigating potential leaks under higher boost pressures. Custom-made silicone hoses, reinforced with 4 layers of polyester/aramid, are included to handle high temperatures and pressures. The kit is intended for use after an engine software tune, as this is when the do88 pressure pipes will provide a performance increase over stock. The kit includes two pressure pipes, four silicone hoses, and eight standard hose clamps, along with necessary hardware for installation. NOTE: This kit will not fit 2002 and earlier models that have sensors in the lower pipe. The hardware for sensor installation is not included for these specific models.
