The TransGo 4T40E-PR5 is a pressure regulator valve and bore repair kit designed for automatic transmissions. It addresses wear in the PR valve bore, which is a common cause of transmission issues. This kit contains enough parts to repair five valve bodies.

The TransGo 4T40E-PR5 Pressure Regulator Repair Kit is engineered to address excessive wear in the PR Valve Bore, a primary contributor to many issues in the 4T40E and 4T45E transmissions. This kit provides the necessary components to correct and prevent common problems such as P0741, P0742, and 1887 codes, planet burn-up, burned forward or reverse frictions, and overheating. This kit includes pressure regulator valves and springs, as well as pump slide springs. It is designed to fix five valve bodies and fits all 4T40E and 4T45E transmissions from 1995 to the present. Please note that the installation of this kit requires a specialized reamer and guide, which are not included.
