Viton® (Fluorocarbon) O-Rings offer increased chemical resistance for harsher applications. They have a higher upper-temperature range but do not perform well in extreme cold. Viton®, also referred to as FKM, has been tested to function properly in temperatures up to 400 degrees for thousands of hours. Viton® O-Rings have similar oil and fuel resistance as Nitrile, making Viton® a necessary secondary consideration for many use cases. Viton® O-Rings are ideal for equipment in agricultural applications such as pest control, lawn care, and more.
