The aFe Takeda Momentum Cold Air Intake System is engineered to optimize airflow for turbocharged gasoline engines, specifically the L4-1.5L (t) found in select Honda Civic and Acura Integra models. Constructed from durable polyethylene, this system incorporates a large Pro 5R air filter designed for maximum filtration and airflow. This intake system replaces the restrictive factory air intake, offering a more direct and smoother path for air to enter the engine. The enclosed design helps to shield the filter from hot engine bay temperatures, ensuring cooler, denser air enters the turbocharger. Installation is described as straightforward, with a design that fits well and requires no additional adjustments over the stock system.
