Single-channel capacitive discharge ignition for high cylinder pressure, high horsepower engines running an MSD Power-Grid. Recycles unused spark energy to reduce battery draw. Provides up to 20% additional spark gap energy and 40% increased spark duration over other 600 mJ ignitions. High-efficiency design reduces power demand and stress on components. Capable of continuous full-power operation (600 mJ). Designed to work with MSD Power-Grid, offering firing-by-firing spark current data acquisition. Diagnostic LED detects faults (Open Coil Primary, Shorted Coil Primary, Reversed Primary Connections, Open Coil Secondary). Continuous operation up to 600 mJ with over 250 microseconds spark duration. Power Boost wire changes output between programmable lower energy (325 mJ default) and max 600 mJ. Engineered for demanding racing applications. Features AC operation with internal coil-coupler for increased spark-gap energy and duration over DC ignitions, leading to more energy at the spark gap, longer duration, and cooler coil operation. Lower energy setting reduces battery power requirements and secondary ignition component stress. Racing use only, not street legal.
