The Steeda Pro-Action Sport Lowering Kit is a complete suspension package that pairs high-performance sport springs with matched shocks and struts. This kit lowers the vehicle by 1 inch in the front and 1.25 inches in the rear to improve both aesthetic stance and handling characteristics.

Designed for the 2005-2014 Mustang GT, the combination of matched components provides superior control of higher spring rates compared to factory suspension units. The bundle is intended to be installed as a single unit, which helps reduce labor costs by consolidating the spring and strut installation process.

The Steeda Pro-Action Sport Lowering Kit provides a comprehensive solution for upgrading your Mustang's suspension by combining Steeda Sport Springs with tuned Pro-Action Shocks and Struts. By replacing the entire assembly at once, this package offers a significant improvement in ride quality, vehicle control, and handling responsiveness over factory-installed components. The kit effectively manages the increased spring rates of the lowering springs, ensuring the vehicle remains composed during spirited driving. Technically, the package includes the 555-8405-11 Pro-Action Shocks and Struts along with 555-8215 Sport Springs. This integrated approach is cost-effective because the front springs are mounted directly to the struts; grouping these parts into one purchase saves time and labor during the installation process since the struts must be removed regardless. Please note that this kit is explicitly not for use on 2011 and newer V6 Mustang models due to the lighter weight of the V6 front end. Additionally, the final amount of lowering may vary slightly from car to car depending on the specific vehicle package and trim options installed.
