Pro-Chek Big Brake Kit

This kit includes larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads than Ksport's Procomp kit, along with an increased number of pistons and full-floating rotors that enhance caliper self-centering for improved performance and reduced drag. The calipers are precision-machined from a single billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring exceptional strength, light weight, and resistance to corrosion. Aluminum pistons are utilized for superior heat dissipation and consistent operation under demanding conditions. Each caliper bracket is CNC machined from carbon steel to precisely mount the larger Ksport calipers to the factory locations. The Supercomp systems feature a two-piece floating rotor design, allowing the outer section to adjust for better self-centering within the caliper, which contributes to lower brake drag and more even pad application. The kit comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, formulated with NAOC Ceramic compounds for optimal performance in street and occasional track use, offering a significant reduction in brake dust, noise, and rotor wear, with an ideal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. Additionally, D.O.T. compliant stainless steel braided brake lines are included to eliminate line expansion under pressure, resulting in quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. Customers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles due to better cooling, while slotted rotors are suggested for vehicles primarily used for track driving. Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, with production and delivery typically taking 4-6 weeks. It is important to note that Ksport Big Brake kits are designed to fit 2WD vehicles only unless otherwise specified. Fitment for the 2010-2017 Audi A8 is confirmed, including various Quattro Elite and Premium trims.
