The kit features an extreme lightweight, one-piece caliper that is CNC machined from aircraft-quality billet. This caliper utilizes a differential bore configuration, opposed piston design for improved pad wear and rigidity over OEM, and includes aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The included stainless-steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. Ksport utilizes a 2-piece disc assembly for reduced rotating and unsprung weight. This specific kit offers a floating disc option, which mitigates thermal stresses that can cause warping or cupping. The rotors feature a unique slot design that reduces braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. All rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. For daily driven vehicles, cross-drilled rotors are recommended for cooler operation, while slotted rotors are best suited for track use. This kit is specifically designed for the Subaru Legacy BL5 models from 2004-2009.
