This kit builds upon the benefits of the Procomp kit, incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with an increased piston count and standard full-floating rotors for enhanced self-centering within the caliper. All calipers are precision-machined from a single billet of aerospace-grade aluminum, ensuring lightweight construction, exceptional strength, and resistance to corrosion, while aluminum pistons offer superior heat management. Construction highlights include a one-piece forged caliper design from solid aerospace quality aluminum for uniform thickness and strength. Carbon steel caliper brackets, CNC machined, ensure a direct fit to OEM caliper bracket locations. The floating two-piece rotor design allows the outer section to shift slightly, improving self-centering, reducing brake drag, and boosting performance through more even application. Standard SC5 Street Pads are included, offering optimal braking for street and occasional track use with reduced dust, noise, and rotor wear, operating effectively between 194°F - 1022°F. DOT compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also standard, providing a quicker pedal response and firmer pedal feel by preventing line expansion under pressure. Customers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors, with cross-drilled recommended for cooler operation on daily drivers and slotted for track use.
