The Pro Comp PRO-VST 2.5 Body Series Rear Shocks (part of a front and rear shock kit with part numbers 51053BX-1 and 51053BX-2) are designed for challenging off-road terrain. These 2.5-inch monotube shocks feature a hard-anodized thick wall impact forged aluminum body for increased strength, lower shock temperatures, and maximum damping capacity. They have 17-4 PH stainless steel precipitation hardened, chrome-plated shafts for corrosion and abrasion resistance. With Vehicle Specific Tuning (VST), these shocks are tuned for optimal on-road ride quality and off-road performance. They feature an internal floating piston to separate nitrogen and oil, improving damping response and eliminating cavitation.
