This kit is designed as a sophisticated, direct bolt-on solution, eliminating the need for any modifications to your vehicle. It surpasses the Procomp kit with larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, alongside an increased piston count for superior performance. Central to the Supercomp kit's design are the one-piece forged billet calipers, crafted from aircraft-grade aluminum. This construction method ensures lightweight strength, unparalleled durability, and resistance to corrosion. The calipers feature aluminum pistons, which offer improved heat resistance and maintain optimal operation under demanding conditions. Additionally, the kit includes SC5 Street Pads (NAOC Ceramic), designed for optimal braking in street and occasional track use, with reduced dust and noise compared to race pads. This Big Brake Kit utilizes a floating two-piece rotor design as standard. The outer section of the rotor can shift slightly, allowing for better self-centering within the caliper. This feature minimizes brake drag and enhances performance through more consistent application. For further customization, Ksport offers the choice between slotted or cross-drilled rotors; cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily drivers due to better cooling, while slotted rotors are suggested for track-focused vehicles. Ksport provides a wide array of caliper finish options, including standard colors like Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow, with premium upgrades to Silver, Gold, and Titanium, as well as custom color finishes. Standard equipment also includes D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which prevent hose expansion under pressure, leading to quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. This kit is specifically designed for 2WD vehicles and fits the 2004-2007 Chrysler Crossfire models. Production and delivery typically take 4-6 weeks.
