The calipers are further enhanced with aluminum pistons, which provide superior heat dissipation and reliable operation under demanding conditions. Featuring a floating two-piece rotor design, the outer section of the rotor can adjust slightly, leading to reduced brake drag and improved performance through more consistent application. Customers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors, with cross-drilled recommended for daily drivers due to better cooling, and slotted for track-focused applications. The kit comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, which offer optimal performance for street and occasional track use, significantly reducing brake dust, noise, and rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F to 1022°F. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also standard, providing a firmer pedal feel and quicker response by preventing line expansion under pressure.
