They also utilize aluminum pistons, which offer improved heat dissipation for consistent performance. The Supercomp kit incorporates a floating two-piece rotor design, allowing the outer section to shift slightly for better self-centering within the caliper. This minimizes brake drag and enhances braking performance through more even pad application. Included with the kit are Ksport's SC5 Street Pads, designed to provide optimal braking under street and occasional track conditions. These pads offer a significant reduction in brake dust (over 50% less than race pads) while also minimizing noise and rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. Furthermore, DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are included, which resist expansion under pressure to provide a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines.
