Building upon the renowned Procomp kit, this Supercomp version boasts significantly larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, enhanced by an increased piston count and standard full-floating rotors that promote better self-centering within the caliper for improved performance and reduced drag. The calipers themselves are crafted from a solid billet of aerospace-grade aluminum, forming a lightweight, one-piece forged construction that guarantees exceptional strength and resistance to corrosion. Aluminum pistons are integrated to offer superior heat management, ensuring consistent braking performance. The rotors, available in both slotted and cross-drilled options, are a floating two-piece design. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily drivers due to their superior cooling, while slotted rotors are better suited for track use. Included are NAOC Ceramic SC5 Street Pads, which provide optimal braking for street and occasional track use, offering a 50% reduction in brake dust compared to race pads, along with reduced noise and rotor wear. The operating temperature range for these pads is 194°F - 1022°F. This Ksport Big Brake kit is specifically designed for 2WD vehicles and fits the Mazda 6 from 2002-2008, including Mazdaspeed models, and requires wheels of at least 15.7 inches in diameter.
