The calipers themselves are crafted from a one-piece billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring lightweight construction, exceptional strength, and resistance to corrosion. Aluminum pistons are utilized for their superior heat resistance and consistent operation. The kit comes standard with SC5 Street NAOC Ceramic pads, which offer optimal braking for street and occasional track use, reducing dust by over 50% and minimizing noise and rotor wear. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also included, preventing line expansion under pressure for a quicker pedal response and firmer pedal feel. Customers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors; slotted rotors are recommended for track use, while cross-drilled rotors are suggested for daily-driven vehicles due to their cooler operating temperatures.
