This sophisticated, bolt-on system builds upon the foundation of the Procomp kit by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with an increased number of pistons and standard full-floating rotors for superior self-centering within the caliper. The calipers themselves are forged from a single billet of aerospace-quality aluminum, ensuring a lightweight yet incredibly strong and corrosion-resistant component. They feature aluminum pistons that enhance heat resistance and maintain optimal operation under demanding conditions. The Supercomp systems come standard with two-piece floating rotors, which reduce both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating design also mitigates thermal stress from extreme heat, preventing disc warping and maintaining the integrity of the braking surface. For customization and performance tuning, customers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors; slotted rotors are recommended for track use, while cross-drilled rotors are advised for daily driving due to their superior cooling capabilities. Standard inclusions for this kit are the forged, monoblock aluminum calipers, two-piece floating rotors (slotted or drilled), a set of SC5 Street Brake Pads, two stainless steel brake lines, and all necessary mounting components and hardware. The included NAOC Ceramic pads offer optimal braking performance for street and occasional track conditions, significantly reducing brake dust, noise, and rotor wear. DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also standard, improving pedal response and feel by preventing line expansion under pressure. This specific Supercomp kit is designed for the BMW M3 E92 model years 2008-2013.
