The calipers themselves are a highlight, being forged from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum. This one-piece construction ensures lightweight design, unparalleled strength, and resistance to corrosion, while the internal aluminum pistons offer superior heat resistance and consistent operation. The Supercomp kit utilizes a two-piece rotor design, contributing to reduced weight and improved fade-free performance. The lightweight center sections, made from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, reduce rotational mass for quicker wheel response. The floating rotor design allows the outer section to expand and contract independently, minimizing warping due to heat buildup. Ksport offers rotors in either Cross Drilled (recommended for daily drivers for cooler operation) or Slotted (recommended for track use for heat dissipation) styles. The kit includes D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which prevent expansion under pressure for a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. Standard inclusions for this kit are (2) forged, monoblock aluminum calipers, (2) lightweight two-piece rotors (slotted or drilled), a set of SC5 street brake pads, (2) stainless steel brake lines, all necessary mounting components and hardware including CNC machined carbon-steel caliper brackets, and an owner's manual. For those seeking further customization, options for upgrading to a Titanium Center Bell and Hardware or Twin Color Anodized Center Bell are available. Caliper colors can be chosen from standard options like Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow, with premium finishes and over 20,000 custom color options also available.
