This sophisticated, bolt-on system builds upon the Procomp kit's foundation, incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with an increased number of pistons and standard full-floating rotors that enhance self-centering capabilities within the caliper. Each caliper is meticulously crafted from a single billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring exceptional strength, light weight, and resistance to corrosion. The calipers are also equipped with aluminum pistons, which offer superior heat dissipation and maintain uncompromised performance under demanding conditions. Constructed with a lightweight, forged one-piece caliper design, this kit utilizes aerospace-quality aluminum for unmatched durability and an even distribution of strength. The floating two-piece rotor design allows the outer section to adjust as needed, improving self-centering, reducing brake drag, and optimizing braking performance through more consistent pad application. Standard SC5 Street Pads are included, offering excellent braking performance for street and occasional track use, while reducing brake dust, noise, and rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. Furthermore, D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are standard, preventing line expansion under pressure for quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. Customers have extensive customization options for caliper colors, including standard finishes like Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow, with premium upgrades available in Silver, Gold, Titanium, and various Glassy/Hard Anodized colors, including over 20,000 custom color finishes. Rotor options include both Slotted and Cross Drilled designs; Cross Drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles due to better cooling, while Slotted rotors are suggested for track-focused applications.
