This kit builds upon the benefits of Ksport's Procomp series, incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with an increased piston count. A key feature is the standard full-floating rotor design, which aids in self-centering within the caliper, reducing brake drag and improving overall performance through more even application. Each caliper is forged from a single piece of aerospace-quality aluminum, ensuring exceptional lightweight strength and freedom from corrosion. These calipers house aluminum pistons, which offer better heat resistance and maintain uncompromised operation under demanding conditions. The kit includes SC5 Street Pads, formulated with NAOC Ceramic material. These pads provide optimal braking performance for street use and occasional track days, while significantly reducing brake dust (by 50% or more compared to race pads) and minimizing noise and rotor wear. They operate optimally between 194°F and 1022°F. Additionally, D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are standard, preventing expansion under pressure for quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. Customers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles as they run cooler, while slotted rotors are better suited for track-focused applications.
