The Ksport SuperComp Big Brake Kit offers superior stopping power through advanced brake technology, significantly reducing brake fade and continually refreshing the brake pad surface. The extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, weighing just over 7lbs, is crafted from aircraft quality billet and features a differential bore with substantially larger pistons compared to ProComp calipers. Construction details include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates, all housed within a caliper designed with machined-in protection grooves for bridge tubes. The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM systems, while stainless steel brake lines ensure they do not expand under pressure. For increased performance and durability, the SuperComp systems come standard with a 2-piece floating disc assembly. This design reduces both rotating and unsprung weight, and crucially, prevents thermal stresses from warping the disc or cupping the braking surface.
