This sophisticated bolt-on system builds upon the Procomp kit with larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, an increased piston count, and standard full-floating rotors that enhance self-centering capabilities within the caliper. The calipers are forged from a single piece of aerospace-grade aluminum, ensuring lightweight construction, unparalleled strength, and resistance to corrosion. Aluminum pistons are incorporated for superior heat resistance and consistent operation under demanding conditions. The floating two-piece rotor design allows the outer section to shift slightly, promoting better self-centering and reducing brake drag for improved performance and more even pad application. This kit includes Ksport's SC5 Street Pads, formulated with NAOC Ceramic material to provide optimal braking performance for street driving and occasional track use. These pads offer a reduction of 50% or more in brake dust compared to race pads, along with significantly less noise and rotor wear, operating effectively between 194°F and 1022°F. The kit also features D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which prevent line expansion under pressure, leading to a firmer pedal feel and a quicker pedal response compared to stock rubber lines. Ksport offers customization options for the rotors, allowing a choice between slotted or cross-drilled designs. Slotted rotors are recommended for vehicles that will see more track time, while cross-drilled rotors are suggested for daily drivers as they run cooler. Caliper finishes are available in standard painted colors (Orange, Red, Black, Yellow) or premium high-polish options (Silver, Gold, Titanium), with extensive custom color finishes also available.
