Pro-Comp Plus Big Brake Kit

This kit builds upon the capabilities of the Procomp series by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and pads, along with an increased number of pistons. A key feature is the standard inclusion of full-floating rotors, which enhance caliper self-centering and reduce brake drag for improved performance. Constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, the one-piece calipers are exceptionally lightweight, incredibly strong, and resistant to corrosion. These calipers also utilize aluminum pistons to better manage heat and ensure consistent operation under demanding conditions. The kit is supplied with Ksport's SC5 Street Pads, designed to provide excellent braking performance on the street and during occasional track sessions. These pads are formulated to reduce brake dust by over 50% compared to race pads, while also minimizing noise and rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. Further enhancing the system are D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which prevent expansion under pressure, resulting in a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. The rotors are available in either slotted or cross-drilled options. Slotted rotors are recommended for vehicles that see more track time, while cross-drilled rotors are suggested for daily-driven vehicles due to their cooler running temperatures. All Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, with production and delivery typically taking 4-6 weeks. This kit is specifically designed for the 1998-2005 Mercedes-Benz S-Class, including models like the S320, S430, S500, and S600.
