The floating two-piece rotor design is standard, allowing the outer rotor section to flex slightly, which enhances self-centering capabilities, further minimizing brake drag and maximizing braking force application. The kit includes Ksport's SC5 Street Pads, formulated from NAOC Ceramic for optimal performance in street and occasional track conditions, offering a significant reduction in brake dust (over 50%) and noise compared to race pads, with an ideal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. Additionally, DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are included to prevent line expansion under pressure, resulting in a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to standard rubber lines. Ksport offers customization for rotor type, with options for slotted or cross-drilled. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for cooler operation in daily-driven vehicles, while slotted rotors are preferred for vehicles experiencing more track use. Calipers are available in standard painted finishes like orange, red, black, and yellow, with premium high-polish options in silver, gold, and titanium, as well as glassy/hard anodized colors, and over 20,000 custom color finishes for nearly limitless personalization.
