Standard full-floating rotors are included to ensure optimal self-centering within the caliper, minimizing brake drag and maximizing performance through more even pad application. Constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, the one-piece calipers offer exceptional lightweight strength and corrosion resistance. These calipers house aluminum pistons, which provide superior heat dissipation and maintain consistent operation under demanding conditions. Ksport's CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets ensure a seamless integration with your vehicle's OEM caliper mounting points, facilitating a straightforward installation. This kit includes Ksport's SC5 Street Pads (NAOC Ceramic), designed for optimal performance during street driving and occasional track use. These pads significantly reduce brake dust by over 50% compared to race pads, while also minimizing noise and rotor wear. The pads are effective within an optimal temperature range of 194°F to 1022°F. Accompanying the calipers and pads are D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which prevent line expansion under pressure, leading to quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. Customization is a key feature, with rotors available in either a slotted or cross-drilled design. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily drivers due to their superior cooling, while slotted rotors are advised for track-focused vehicles to better expel gas and debris.
