Each caliper is forged from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring a lightweight yet exceptionally strong and corrosion-resistant one-piece construction. The opposed piston design significantly improves pad wear and caliper rigidity over stock configurations. Additionally, D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are included, which prevent hose expansion under pressure, leading to a firmer pedal feel and quicker response. The Supercomp kits come standard with a two-piece floating rotor assembly, reducing both rotating and unsprung weight while minimizing thermal stress to prevent warping. Customers can select either cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily-driven vehicles due to their superior cooling, or slotted rotors, better suited for track applications. The kit includes Ksport's SC5 Street Pads, which are NAOC ceramic pads offering optimal braking performance under street and occasional track conditions, with reduced dust and noise compared to race pads.
